Nathan creates intricately drawn fields of bright colors in permanent marker on paper & stretched canvas; and as wearable art on shoes, shirts, scarves, and bags. Composed of hundreds of small shapes of different colors and patterns, his pieces are expansive, vibrant, and alive. Sometimes symbols from pop culture make their way into these compositions - a hamburger, smiley face, the moon, a star. And his love of animal patterns and colors - flamingo pink, cheetah spots, tiger and zebra stripes, is almost always represented.
