We believe that art has the power to transform lives, and opens a window to the deepest expressions and yearnings of the human spirit. Our philosophy is rooted in total respect for the individual and the core belief that all people, regardless of ability, have a unique artistic voice.


ART EXPLORERS PROVIDES


* An art studio where artists can produce art and craft items, receive instruction, and learn new skills while enjoying themselves.

* Opportunities for artists to exhibit and sell their work both on-site and in various local venues.

* A pathway for inclusion through visits to artist studios, galleries, and museums, and participation in art openings and community events.

* A warm, noncompetitive environment which fosters independence and self esteem.



The majority of our funding comes through the Redwood Coast Regional Center. We also receive public support in the form of donations, sales, and volunteer hours. Visitors are always welcome!


Our Hours: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9 am - 3 pm
Saturday, 12 - 3 pm
(No Saturday program in April, August, or December)
